Love the pizza here and get it delivered almost weekly. Real thin slices of sausage = awesome. Have yet try many of the "styles" of pizza they offer but plan to do so soon. They can get busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour for delivery.

Am I actually the first person the review this place? This was THE spot to grab a slice on my way home in high school, meet some friends when home from college to chow, etc. I'm pretty sure this is where mom would have the babysitter order delivery for us when my folks would go out. The pie selection is extensive, the taste is solid, and the sandwiches are good too. This was also one of the first places to have the now popular "Philly" sandwich which is pork, spicy broccoli raab, and melted sharp provolone on a fresh hoagie roll. The cheesesteak will obviously always be #1 sandwich associated with the city of brotherly love, but this pork sandwich is def a contender. And Dominick's is the first place I ever saw it. Whenever I'm back in the hood I love to pop into Dominick's for a taste of nostalgia. Props.

This place is a pleasant surprise for dinner. I have been here many times for a slice and would sit in the front ( normal local pizza type place). The pizza has always been excellent. A few weeks back, my wife and I stopped in on a weeknight and decided to sit in the back dining room. Wow , what a surprise. The waiter Steve was very respectful and seemed to go out of his way to serve. The atmosphere was great - like sitting in a covered garden in Italy. Now.. The food.. I am an Italian food snob. I grew up in a densely populated section of NYC where we had by far the best Italian restaurants. This was a great food experience as almost every where we ate was as good as the best of Italy. So I am spoiled.. My bar is set very high, and frankly , in the area we now live I can count 1-2 restaurants that come close to that bar. I know have added this place. When we ordered I expected the normal blah pizza place trying to server dinners. Wow was I shocked. The quality of the recipes, food, cooking style, and presentation was as good as I had seen growing up in the old neighborhood. We have been back 3x since and it's been consistant .. I highly advise you try this place and sit in the back dining room.

A surprising find in a town without much else. These folks can just sit back and dish out whatever to the locals and site seers but they are always improving and upgrading their place. The brick oven pizzas are the best but the oven is frequently 'down'. The sit down meals are well worth the price.

Pizza was great and service was friendly! We tried the cheesesteak pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza and both were wonderful. Although there are a few inside bar stools and an older TV this is for sure more of a take out place than an in place.

We had this pizza delivered to our bed & breakfast and it was steamy and absolutely amazing. We tried the baked potato pie and instantly fell in love. We took pics of the pie for Instagram and all our friends & family were immediately in awe!!

Mushy flavorless pasta and pizza that was undercooked with raw crust. It may have been good at one point but not anymore

Love this place. The food is always good. We usually get take out. But recently I started hitting up the bar after work. Happy hour is 4-6 and getting off at 4:30 it's just a nice place to grab a beer or two on my way home. Great bar tender and atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a few drinks or some really good food.

This place used to be my favorite pizza shop. As a kid, I would come here every week with my family and they always had the best pizza! Now I've started coming again recently and their prices are ridiculously high and the service is TERRIBLE. Second to last time I was here, the staff was very rude and they forgot to put in our order. We waited 30 mins for a pizza before asking about it, only to realize they had never actually taken our order- and then still charged us full price for it. The last time I was here they overcharged us for our pizza and drinks and the workers were incredibly rude. They blatantly ignored us when we asked for a to go box. Sadly, I will be taking my business elsewhere in search of a new favorite pizza shop.

This is the same place as Original Dominick's Pizza Shoppe, and that page has more reviews. My review is posted there, but for those who prefer one stop reviewing, here goes: The place has expanded over the years and now boasts a nice back dining room, and a side barroom. One is very nice, while the other could use some work in putting things out of sight and matching the bar with the furnishings. My experience at a recent lunch was likely an anomaly, but the two slices of tomato pie I ordered were forgotten in the oven and ended up in the trash when I returned to check on them. The two I did eat were pretty good, with chunky red sauce, fresh melted mozza and a little basil. I had eaten at their shop in Richboro the week before, and found the pizza there slightly better. Why? I don't know, but it seemed a bit thicker and saucier. I did not have dinner in this place as I did in Richboro, but at some point I will return to try it. I appreciate the success of a family business, and Dominick's is a story of humble beginnings becoming auspicious rewards. Washington Crossing doesn't have many offerings, but Dom's has been holding the fort there for decades.

Delicious (and cheap) by-the-slice pizza served up fast by super-friendly staff. To be clear, I have only done lunch at Dominick's, and only by-the-slice pizza, so I cannot comment on other elements of their menu. PROS Dominick's always has a great selection of different kinds of pizza, ranging from traditional to specialty, thin and thick crust. My personal favorite is their buffalo chicken pizza. Their garlic-cheese breadsticks are amazing. Rich and cheesy, the outside of the crust is crispy with a wonderfully soft middle. There are times when I just want to eat nothing else! The staff is always friendly, serve you quick, and always get things right. This is top notch pizza for a very reasonable price - a great lunch option. CONS If there are any cons here, they are few. It would be nice to have a bit more parking when things are busy, and the dining area doesn't seem to know what it wants to be when it grows up. Am I in a bar? A fine Italian restaurant? A strange mixture of both? Honestly though, I really don't care. Just give me another slice of that pizza! OVERALL If you are anywhere near Washington Crossing, check out Dominick's for great pizza for a great price.

We ordered a large pizza here, and it didn't seem right. Turns out, it was a pie made for slices that they placed together to appear as if it were cooked only for us. When I questioned the waitress she was clearly alarmed and afraid to tell the boss that we weren't happy. She was very nice, and trying to tell us not to complain. We found out why when I asked for the manager. The man was a raging bully, indignant that we had uncovered his unprofessional tactic. He was indignant, and aggressive, and demanded that we leave. It was a sort of, "How dare you question me", type of response. Exactly what Shakespeare had in mind when he wrote, "Me thinks though doth protest too much". The waitress's trepidation indicates that it has happened before, and I believe that it will happen again. Buyer beware here at Dominics. We considered calling the police, but chose to move on, never to return.

We stopped in again last night for drinks and a Vinny's Special pie. It was great! We sat in the bar area and our server, Josh, was excellent. It seemed like he was working the whole room, plus the bar, and yet he was incredibly attentive and we were very pleased to have him as our server. We will certainly be back soon!

I do enjoy this place very much. Good pizza, and the breadsticks are solid too. I do recommend the buffalo chicken slice. The chicken is juicy and perfectly cooked and cut, and then the buffalo sauce is rich and buttery (yes, that's a good thing ), and it has the perfect amount of spice. That is definitely my go-to slice. The only slice I've ever had here that wasn't delicious was the Alfredo ziti slice. The pasta was a little undercooked, but it still tasted good. Another great thing about this place is that the service is fast and super friendly! The bartender is really funny, and I still talk to him even though I can't drink (8 more years! ). You order your slice when you walk in, grab a seat, and chill out. Then when your slice is ready, you're visit is finished with crispy, cheesy, saucy perfection (and whatever else you got on your slice, that's most likely good to). My family and I have eaten here for about 10 years (since I was 3) and we love it. Overall, awesome place to come by and eat, talk to nice people, chill out, and just have a great time! Definitely a place I recommend!

Great pizza. I can't argue with that. But I don't know how people think it's right to pay 19.74 for a SMALL buffalo chicken pizza. It would take 4 hours of their minimal wage employees to pay for that pizza. Like I said, great pizza but extremely overpriced.

I'm from CA and have only had pizza from them once, but I was underwhelmed. We ordered delivery and things went down hill from there. The normal 30 mins kept stretching out. Calls at 40 minutes and 1 hour garnered a curt response and no information. The pizzas arrived after an hour and 10 minutes with no apology or offer of discount for delay. The pies were good, but only semi-warm. Unfortunately, we were too hungry to wait for replacement. I can't speak to the competition in PA, but they wouldn't last six months in CA with that level of service. I can only hope that what I experienced was highly unusual.

Um, YUM. I made an executive decision that last Sunday would be spent winery-hopping over the NJ/PA border. The day went swimmingly! So swimmingly, in fact, that I can't recall enough about each winery to write reviews about them. Oops. However... I do vividly recall the wonder and amazement I felt when I sunk my teeth into a chicken a-la vodka slice from Dominick's. And again when I swooped upon a slice of chicken bbq. As I began chewing, the dulcet tones of Phil Collins filling my eardrums, I was transported to a happy place I thought I had lost my passport to since Knights of the Round Pie excursion #2 to Valentino's. There it was: the firm yet malleable crust, the crunchy, gooey underbelly, the symphonic blend of chicken and cheese, sauce and spices. I am ashamed to say I at one time harbored feelings of "eww" towards chicken pizza. I'm sorry, babycakes, I didn't mean it. LUVU4EVA.

Best slice I've ever had. Hands down. Let's put it this way: Every new pizza place I try, I compare it against Dominick's. D's has set the bar in my book, and it's high. So far, nothing in all my 26 years has measured up to the first place pedestal that Dominick's sits on for me. My mom was a teacher at the elementary school I went to down the street, and we would constantly order pizza and breadsticks whenever she had to stay late to do work. Dominick's quickly became the standard for my taste buds, and nothing has changed. I've been to this place recently, and it still resonates just as strongly. The chicken alfredo pizza is one of my favorites - juicy chicken and plump broccoli florettes drizzled in a creamy alfredo sauce. It's beyond words. I also love the barbeque chicken pizza, and they don't mess around with it. The chicken is sliced large and drowned in a tangy barbeque sauce with mozzarella cheese. None of that red onion and cilantro garbage that doesn't belong anywhere near barbequed chicken but that other places always seem to include. The classic cheese / pepperoni / etc. are also all very good and in the top tier of high quality pizza. Make sure you try the cheesy breadsticks too! It's the last nice little lunch place, across the street from the park, right before you cross into Jersey. Stop in on your way to fill up your tank!

Nice little pizza shop. 2 Stars- Plain slice 2 Stars- Vodka Slice 3.5 Stars- Buffalo Chicken slice Its like any NY pizzeria when you look inside, but quality isn't the same. The service is great and fast. Plus there really isn't much choice for eateries around the immediate area.

Dominick's is a decent pizza joint for a quick lunch or dinner. The entrees aren't exceptional but I do frequent there for slices.

Dominick's is ...OK. Just OK. They're pizza is mediocre, but not awful. I might go with Gabriel's on Taylorsville Rd instead. Sandwiches aren't bad, but again, they're not serving anything revolutionary here. Fine for ordering in on rainy nights. Otherwise, head elsewhere.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
